The agency publishes an international online directory as well as a german print journal / exhibition guide for Germany, Austria , Switzerland and Luxembourg. Lately it offers an international e-announcement service (for institutions working with photography and video art.) The agency also curates exhibitions and is responsible for all aspects of photographic art consulting and exhibition management.
Photoforum, in New Zealand PhotoForum Inc. is a non-profit society dedicated to the promotion of photography as a means of communication and expression.Their website showcases New Zealand photographic work and work of overseas photographers with some connection to New Zealand or PhotoForum. ROMKA is a magazine for photography and features international amateurs, students and professionals.
The idea behind it is to create a showcase for pictures that are not necessarily a representative excerpt of your work, but your most favorite pictures. These could of course be part of your portfopo, but also privatepictures of your friends and family, snapshots, those that make you laugh or cry or the ones you can't even remember taking. This is not about self-portrayal, not about technical perfection or fancy topics. This is not about style.
